Give your brakes color that lasts. We powder coat car, truck and motorcycle calipers with tough, heat-resistant finishes that won’t chip or fade like spray paint.

Caliper paint in a spray can fades, chips and turns brown from brake heat and brake dust. Powder coating is baked on in an oven, so it stands up to heat and brake dust much better and stays bright longer.

- Calipers must be off the vehicle.
- Pistons, seals, dust boots, bleeder screws and pad hardware need to come out. Rubber parts can’t go in the curing oven. Text us before you take anything apart.
- Plan to rebuild with new seals after coating. A rebuild kit is cheap and recommended.
- Don’t split two-piece calipers held together by bridge bolts. Text us about those first.

Will powder coating affect how my brakes work?
No. Piston bores, seal grooves, threads, bleeder ports and pad contact surfaces are masked, so only the outside of the caliper is coated.
Do the seals and pistons need to come out?
Yes. The curing oven would damage rubber seals and boots, so the calipers need to be taken apart. Rebuild them with new seals after coating.
Can I get a logo or lettering on my calipers?
Text us what you have in mind and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
What colors are popular for calipers?
Red, yellow, blue, orange and gloss black are the most common. See our Colors page for the full list.
How long do calipers take?
Typical turnaround is 10–15 days after drop-off. That isn’t a guarantee, since problems sometimes come up during coating.
