Before The Powder Guy, our owner worked as a motorcycle mechanic and engine builder. That’s why we care about the details that matter when your bike or 4-wheeler goes back together: clean threads, bare mounting surfaces and protected bearing bores.

Do you powder coat 4-wheeler frames?
Yes. We coat ATV and 4-wheeler frames, A-arms, racks and other parts, along with motorcycle and dirt bike frames.
Do you mask the VIN?
Yes. We mask the stamped VIN and ID plates so they stay readable after coating.
Do you mask threads and bearing bores?
Yes. Threads, bearing bores, mounting surfaces and ground points are masked or plugged so everything goes back together cleanly.
Can you remove old paint or powder?
Yes. Parts are stripped and media blasted to bare metal before coating, so the new finish bonds properly.
Do I need to fully take apart my bike or 4-wheeler?
The frame has to be stripped bare: no wiring, rubber, plastic or bearings. If you’re not sure what to take off, text us a photo first.
How long does a frame take?
Typical turnaround is 10–15 days after drop-off. That isn’t a guarantee, since problems sometimes come up during coating.
