Cerakote is a thin ceramic coating. High-temp Cerakote is made for parts that get too hot for powder coat, like exhaust headers and manifolds. It goes on very thin, so it keeps tight fits and fine details, and it helps protect metal from heat, rust and wear.

- Take off gaskets, sensors, O2 bungs and hardware.
- Let us know which surfaces need to stay bare, like flanges and sealing faces.
- Point out any cracks or leaks. Those need to be fixed before coating.

Is Cerakote better than powder coating?
It depends on the part. Cerakote handles extreme heat and goes on very thin. Powder coat is thicker and tougher for parts that don’t get as hot. We’ll recommend the right one for your part.
Can you Cerakote exhaust headers?
Yes. High-temp Cerakote is made for headers, manifolds and other exhaust parts.
What colors are available?
High-temp Cerakote comes in fewer colors than powder coat. Black, grays and silver are the most common. Text us the color you want and we’ll check what’s available.
How long does Cerakote take?
Typical turnaround is 10–15 days after drop-off. That isn’t a guarantee, since problems sometimes come up during coating.
